Diane Kimbrell
Actress, puppeteer, and writer, Diane Kimbrell has lived in NYC
for many years, but was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro,
she has also attended Columbia University (and was awarded six fellowships
in writing) and in addition earned credits from NYU in the Drama Therapy
Program. Her various credits include TV, film, cabaret and Off Off-Broadway,
the Muppets and Sid & Marty Krofft Productions. As a writer, she considers
herself another voice
from the south. Her short stories have appeared in the River Walk Journal,
Plum Biscuit, Subtletea, Muscadine Lines, and will soon appear in the
SFWP Literary Journal. To support her career in the arts, Diane has over
twenty years of administrative experience working for doctors, lawyers
and high level executives at organizations such as Memorial Sloan-Kettering
Cancer Center, New York University, and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals to name
a few.
